The Path to Chess Mastery, A Promising New Blog

ChessAdmin has begun The Path to Chess Mastery with several excellent posts yesterday. Technically, he has been on the path to chess mastery for some time, but that's the name of the blog, which is fitting.

Reflections on Training is dead-solid-perfect.

I am flattered that he mentions my annotated games as a partial inspiration. I need to do another, so I'll get cracking.

Thanks for the mention. I've made it an (enjoyable) project to read through your blog, am now up to mid-2009. Very interesting stuff, both on your site and through your links. I see that you've had some similar thoughts in the past on training ideas. Too bad a number of the old Chess Publisher-linked games are no longer available, although I enjoyed your commentary and background on them.

Also have to say I was very entertained by the quick flame war with the FM over the "cultist" blogger comments.

Thanks for the mention. I've finished working my way through this entire blog now, found a lot of useful info and links out of it along the way. I probably got the most out of the "memorable games" posts, although it was interesting to see your earlier posts on the training process as well.

I also have to say the quickly-concluded flame war with the FM was highly entertaining.

I am honored that you read the whole thing...I will have another "Memorable game" here pretty soon.
